This summer, a new tradition begins! Woofstock, the first annual music-filled fundraiser from the Humane Society of Central Texas, is hitting the stage on Saturday, June 21 at The Backyard Bar, Stage & Grill in Waco. Running from 4:00pm - 11:30pm, this all-day celebration is packed with heart, soul, and a whole lot of tail-wagging joy.
Woofstock is more than just a music festival - it’s a celebration of the unbreakable bond between humans and animals and the incredible sense of community that forms when we come together for a shared purpose. At the heart of the event is the belief that animals make us better, and that’s why this festival is designed for everyone who believes in the magic of the human-animal connection. One highlight you won’t want to miss: a legendary Air Guitar Contest, where participants can compete for a $500 cash prize! Just add the $10 contest entry when purchasing your ticket, and you’ll be rockin’ your way to possible glory—no guitar required. Woofstock is for guests 16+, but we haven’t forgotten our littlest animal lovers. While they’ll have to sit this one out, we hope they’ll be cheering from home - maybe even coaching your air guitar routine!
